Abstract

Within the framework of this study, the possible grounds for the formation of mental criteria in the context of the correlation of abstract and physical objects were considered; in this regard, Balaguer's approach regarding the futility of mutually exclusive positions regarding the nature and the character of abstract objects is super relevant; in our opinion, the analysis of the interaction between the signifies and the signified can help in the search for further possible directions of research concerning possible relationships between physical and abstract entities.
